R-22 Refrigerant – 30 lb Disposable Cylinder
R-22 refrigerant has long been the dominant HCFC used in residential and commercial air conditioning, large centrifugal chillers, and industrial process cooling. It has also been widely applied in both low- and medium-temperature refrigeration since the phase-out of CFCs. While no longer produced for new equipment, R-22 remains essential for servicing and maintaining legacy systems.

Regulatory & Phase-Out Status
- Production of R-22 for new equipment was restricted beginning in 2010
- Final production ended in 2020 in the U.S.
- Use of R-22 is still allowed for servicing legacy equipment until supplies are depleted
Important: R-22 is regulated as an HCFC. Purchases require EPA Section 608 certification. Only qualified buyers may purchase this refrigerant.
