The SEN01655 Trane is a thermal dispersion flow sensor engineered for accurate fluid velocity detection in HVAC systems. It features a programmable setpoint of 35 cm/s and is designed to monitor liquid flow with high precision using thermal dispersion technology.
Ideal for side-mount installation on horizontal piping, this sensor includes a 1/2-inch NPT connection and a long 393.7-inch pre-attached cable for flexible setup. It operates in demanding environments with temperature ranges from -22°F to 140°F and relative humidity up to 95%.
Trane recommends mounting the sensor on the side of the pipe to prevent debris accumulation on the tip, ensuring consistent and accurate measurements. Accuracy is rated at ±5 cm/sec at 20°C in a 2-inch ID pipe.
