R-32 Refrigerant – High-Efficiency HFC (A2L)
R-32 is a next-generation HFC refrigerant increasingly used in residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. With a lower GWP than R-410A and high energy efficiency, R-32 has become a preferred choice for many OEMs in new air conditioners and heat pumps. Classified as A2L (mildly flammable), R-32 should only be used in equipment specifically designed for A2L refrigerants.
